Do you have an excellent background within Information Security Specialist or Security Architect? Are you Degree or equivalent qualified within a technical discipline? Do you have a valid CLAS membership? CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certificate is desirable. CURRENT SC LEVEL SECURITY CLEARANCE or able to obtain clearance quickly would be preferable.
Our client is looking for an experienced Information Security Specialist / Security Architect ? to work on leading edge security designs. This role promotes security best practice, though leadership, and technical input for developing and supporting security initiatives and to provide authoritative Information Assurance advice and guidance. Advise client solution and technical architects on the security implications and impacts of theoretical and real solutions in line with standards, good practice guides, etc..
The candidate will be based in the Hampshire area and ideally candidates should have CURRENT SC LEVEL SECURITY CLEARANCE or able to be cleared quickly.
Consultancy or outsourcing background.
The successful Security Specialist or Security Architect should have a good working knowledge and implementation of UK HMG information assurance and security architecture. Ideally experience would have been obtained by actively supporting UK HMG, or preferably, from working within, or in support of, the defence industry/armed services. A valid CLAS membership would be a distinct differentiator for any applicant.
The successful Security Specialist or Security Architect must possess a good level of experience producing viable security solutions or designs, some of which should have been in a lead architect capacity;
A substantial level of relevant work experience;
UK HMG and defence industry knowledge and experience
A valid CLAS membership would be a significant differentiator, although our client is happy to sponsor this.
Education: - Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, telecommunications, networking, engineering or another computer-related field. Higher degree preferred;
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification is desirable.
